Chelsea Flower Show: Our garden inspired by mental wellbeing
We’re so pleased to share some of the progress and finished photos of our beautiful garden at the Chelsea Flower Show.
The garden was made possible thanks to MS Amlin, and designed by the talented Hamzah-Adam Desai from Tone & Manner.

Hamzah first approached Shout about designing a garden for the show because he had used the service himself during winter when he was struggling with Seasonal Affective Disorder. He has found that being in nature really helps his mental health, which is how he went on to become a garden designer.
Created with mental wellbeing in mind, the garden features a unique colour wheel of flowers and foliage, designed to help visitors feel grounded in the present moment, encouraging mindfulness and calm through colour therapy.
The garden has gone on to win a silver medal, and has had a lot of media attention, with BBC Gardeners World presenter Rachel de Thame paying it a visit for a segment on social seating areas in gardens, and comedian Tom Allen also came past.
Testimonials
A heartfelt thank you to our garden designer, Hamzah-Adam Desai, and to MS Amlin for making our garden at the Chelsea Flower Show possible. It’s a beautiful space to sit among the plants, relax, and be immersed in Hamzah’s stunning planting.

We couldn’t be more happy that the garden will be moved to its forever home on the grounds of Haven House Children’s Hospice, where it will be a place for children and their families to find some peace.
It took four days, with four people planting, to put the garden together. Take a look below at how the garden was looking a week out from the Show officially opening. Thank you to the whole team who grew the plants and pulled the garden together!
Love the garden? This week you can vote for it in the People’s Choice Awards, cast your vote here. We’d all appreciate the love so much!
