Ed Sheeran to perform intimate gig in aid of Shout

We’re excited to announce that Ed Sheeran, one of the biggest music stars in the world, will perform an intimate gig this October in aid of Shout - the UK’s first and only free, 24/7, confidential text support service, powered by Mental Health Innovations.

With only 300 pairs of tickets up for grabs to this exclusive event, fans have until 25 September to enter the charity prize draw by text, online or by post to be in with a chance of seeing Ed Sheeran live! Here's how.

This will be the first in a series of unforgettable charity events from For One Night Only, a new fundraising initiative created by HARDER THAN YOU THINK in collaboration with Will Young's Wellstock, which will see some of the biggest names in music, entertainment and sport donate their time to create unmissable experiences that money can’t buy.

Testimonials

I am excited to announce that I have teamed up with For One Night Only for this very special one-off concert. For One Night Only is holding the event in partnership with Will Young and his 'Wellstock' initiative and it will help to raise funds for the mental health service Shout, who are doing important work by providing free, 24/7 text support to thousands of people every day.

Tickets

No tickets will be on sale for this event. Instead, fans have until 25 September to enter a charity prize draw and make a voluntary donation of £10 to Shout to be in with a chance of getting their hands on one of 300 pairs of tickets to see Ed Sheeran live.

To enter the charity prize draw, simply:

  • Text ED to 84903 (texts will be charged at your standard network rate); or
  • Visit foronenightonly.org to enter online or by post

Good luck 🤞

How your donation helps

Your £10 voluntary donation could enable someone in distress to access one hour of free mental health support from a trained Shout Volunteer.

Every day we take around 2,000 conversations with children, young people and adults who are struggling to cope with suicidal thoughts, depression, anxiety, loneliness and more. Demand for Shout tripled during the pandemic and continues to grow.

Thanks to the kind support of the event’s brand partners, Chase, Marks & Spencer and ASOS, all money raised from the event will be donated to Shout, enabling us to continue to provide free, 24/7, confidential mental health support to anyone who needs us 💙

Will Young’s involved too!

The first For One Night Only event has been developed in collaboration with Wellstock, an initiative created by singer-songwriter Will Young which is aiming to raise awareness and funds for a variety of mental health charities.

Testimonials

The conversation around mental health is such an important one. We all have mental health, we all need to talk about it and there is also a need to have places to go when we are struggling. You have the chance of joining me in London on October 11th 2022 by entering the charity prize draw and you can support Shout by making a £10 donation. Hope to see you there.

The aims [of Wellstock] are to use events to bring mental health awareness to the fore whilst also fundraising and with an overview of acceptance, validation and blowing away the shame that can attach itself to feeling anything other than happiness.
