Hawkstone Farmers’ Choir win Britain’s Got Talent 2026 in support of Shout

The Hawkstone Farmers’ Choir have won Britain’s Got Talent 2026, capturing the nation’s attention with their powerful performances and message about mental health in rural communities.

The group of 32 farmers and agricultural workers from across the UK were brought together by Jeremy Clarkson and have been performing since 2024. Their performances struck a chord with audiences and judges alike, shining a light on life in rural communities.

Shining a light on rural mental health

Farming can be tough. Long hours, pressure and isolation can all take a toll on mental health.

During their Britain's Got Talent journey, one choir member spoke about how being part of the group has helped them cope with that isolation, highlighting just how important connection can be.

The choir was created to bring people together, but also to open up conversations about how people are really feeling. Their performances helped shine a light on these challenges in a way that felt honest and relatable, helping to start conversations about mental health across rural communities.

Supporting SHOUT through their music

Following their Britain’s Got Talent victory, the choir have announced plans to release a record, with all proceeds going to support SHOUT.

This will help fund SHOUT’s free, confidential, 24/7 text messaging service — giving people a space to reach out, be heard and find support whenever they need it.

Victoria Hornby, CEO of SHOUT, said:

“The Hawkstone Farmers’ Choir has given an incredible voice to the mental health challenges faced by people in the agricultural community. We are incredibly grateful to be the charity partner for this project. The funds raised will help us be there for more people who are struggling to cope.”

Judge Amanda Holden praised the performance, saying:

“As you started, I completely welled up. I felt so much power. You work so hard every single day. You absolutely smashed it.”

What started as a choir has become something much bigger. By sharing their voices, the Hawkstone Farmers’ Choir are helping more people feel seen and reminding others that they’re not alone, especially those in the farming community.

Their Britain’s Got Talent win has brought national attention to the challenges faced by farming communities and the importance of reaching out for support. Through their music, they continue to raise awareness, start conversations and help people who need it most.
