No young person should ever feel alone

When life feels tough, we want you to know that there’s someone there for you. We've come together with five other leading mental health charities to say that if you're a young person struggling with any kind of mental health worry, you’re not alone. We're Here4You.

Here, so you never feel alone

Research shows that record numbers of children and young people are struggling with their mental health.  More young people need support than ever before, but don’t always know how to access it. Parents don’t always know how to help and teachers aren’t always provided with the skills or resources needed.

Here4You aims to improve the wellbeing of young people across the nation by enabling them to explore and improve their own mental health, while also providing help and information to them and the adults around them.

Watch the film

It's here! With some famous names sharing how they take care of their mental health and some incredible young people reflecting on their mental health journeys, watch now and see who you can spot - and if you can take away any top tips.

How you can help

We know how much you want to help the young people in your life, but it’s not always easy to know how.

By donating to Shout, you can make a real difference to the young people around the UK in the need of urgent mental health support:

  • £10 can help someone in distress to access an hour of mental health support
  • £25 can fund a clinician to provide expert supervision of conversations on our digital mental health platform
  • £250 can train a new Shout Volunteer to take life-saving conversations
